NEW ADVANCED TRAINING PLANNING COMMITTEE

create an Advanced Training Committee for the SE Region. Members are:

Astra and Catherine are in North Carolina, and Sandy and Erica are in Florida.

Barbara and MaryBeth organized the last three advanced trainings in our region, and are available to help. There are also three women who serve as the NorthWest Region's committee, and have done so for 10 years. They have a very well organized format for producing advanced trainings in their region. The SE Region committee will consult with them as well.
The present vision is that the SE Region would sponsor two advanced trainings in different areas of the region in 2007. Our region encompasses a huge geographical area, and the 2007 Guild Conference will be held in Portland. Offering two Advanced Trainings will make it not only possible, but feasible, for practitioners throughout the region to attend an Advanced Training if they choose.
Many possibilities of topics are under consideration. Region members have asked for Sounder Sleep, Bones for Life, Russell Delman, Angel DiBenedetto, Raul Rubin, and Donna Blank, to name a few. Additionally, there are quite a few members in our region who would also like to teach workshops including Margaret Pittenger, Ann Harmon, Lavinia Plonka, and our assistant trainers Bonnie Kissam, Ellen Soloway, and Candy Conino.
Requests for Proposals will be published in the Region Newsletter as the work of the committee progresses. Thanks again to our volunteers!
