Pangea Day is a global event bringing the world together
through film. On May 10, 2008, live events in Cairo, Kigali,
London, Los Angeles, Mumbai, and Rio de Janeiro will be linked
to produce a 4-hour program of powerful films, live music, and
visionary speakers. The program will be broadcast live to
millions of people worldwide through the internet, television,
and mobile phones.
Why? In a world where people are often divided by borders
and conflict, it's easy to lose sight of what we all have in
common. Pangea Day seeks to overcome that — to help people see
themselves in others — through the power of film. Movies alone
can't change the world. But the people who watch them can.

We'll be gathering to watch the event on Current TV, and on
streaming video via the Internet on multiple screens. If
you want to watch it on your phone, we'll show you how! Bring
your own laptop if you like, and participate in a huge
worldwide internet chat about the films. Drop in to say hello,

of Somatic Education offers a viewpoint and a way of
being in your body that is simple, gentle, and

 Leonardo
da Vinci: Man, Inventor, Genius
Join us for an outing to Houston's Museum of Natural
Science!
The "Leonardo" exhibit features about 50 handcrafted
wooden models of some of da Vinci's most intriguing
designs. According to a Museum press release,
"Numerous models will be interactive and hands-on, and
guests are encouraged to push, pull, and crank for a
greater understanding of their (the models') purpose and
operation."
A huge timeline wall mural provides historical context
for Leonardo's achievements amid the cultural milestones
and world events of the Renaissance. Some of his
designs still look like something from the future.! This
exhibit will inspire your creativity and imagination as
you see things through the eyes of a genius.
